It is important to know your Hardiness Zone so you can match the Cold Tolerance of your Apple Tree Variety to your location.
While apples can be grown in virtually all of our 50 states, not every variety will survive at every locatio. Hardiness zones are a measure of the coldest temperatures the your trees will have to survive. Hardiness zones are listed as numbers with the lowest numbered zones being the coldest. Varieties are rated according to how low a zone they will tolerate.
Check the map below or use the zip code lookup tool to find your zone.
