Harvest / Season : Early - good for early season pies and apple crisps

Description: McIntosh type apple with better color and flavor. Dark red with heavy, waxy bloom and crisp, juicy flesh with some aromatic quality. Good fresh. Fruit hangs on tree longer than McIntosh. Very consistent annual producer. Excellent Salad apple. Marginally hardy on Minnesota
Other Characteristics : Requires pollination. Hardiness zones: 4,5,6,7,8,9
