Description: This widely adaptable golden apple is an ideal pollinizer because it
blooms mid- season and has three different sets of blooms. Mild, sweet,
distinctive flavor. Hight quality fruit of multi-purpose. The heavy

Marginally hardy in Minnesota, not recommended for planting here, the tree may survive, but it will not bear fruit well.

GOLDEN RUSSET

Description: This is one of the "homeliest" apples we grow. The "champagne" of old-time cider apples, also delicious for eating and
drying. Grey-green to golden bronze with a coppery orange cheek;
heavily splotched with light brown russet. Crisp, highly flavored,
fine-textured, yellow flesh makes very sugary juice. Shows some
resistance to scab and cedar apple rust.

GRIMES GOLDEN

Description: This is a variety I grew in Pennsylvania, it was always easy to sell. More complex flavor than its offspring Golden Delicious. Rich, spicy,
tangy, sweet flavor with light yellow flesh. Best grown in warmer
climates. Direct marketers seek out this fruit due to its superior
dessert quality. Excellent pollinizer.
