God's Nature
Every thing we see and everything we do not see originates in God and
comes from Him. Thus everything carries with it part of the nature and
substance of its originator, who is the one true and Living God, YHWH,
of the Bible which is his Book of the Covenant with mankind.
Genesis, The Book of Beginnings says:
Gen 1:1-4 1 First this: God created the Heavens and Earth - all you see, all you don't see. 2 Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God's Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss. 3 God spoke: "Light!" And light appeared. 4 God saw that light was good and separated light from dark. When we look at any aspect of our world, we will see clues to the Nature and Character of God. Not only that, but we find that God speaks to us through the operaton of life, geology, science, physics, sunsets, rain, cold and heat. The more we are able by His grace to tune in, the more we can find out. He whispers in the thunderstorms, shouts on a summer breeze, and displays his complex splendor in the culture of our simple home gardens and orchards. We are here to help you grow good fruit for sure, but we are also here to guide and and help you tune in to what God is saying - How he is preaching his passion for redemption, giving us hope, rewarding us, feeding us,healing us, reconciling us, and training us to be His weaned, well disciplined sons. God is a farmer, He is a warrior, He is the unchallenged Judge, and the Bridegroom of His Church.
We have much to see and learn, let's take a closer look at our own homes amd hearts.
We are in agreement with the Apostles' Creed
We
simply agree with the Apostles Creed as stated below, you are not
required to agree with us to participate on this site, but the one
unqualified rule is LOVE in its deepest, most Biblical, and demanding
sense.
This is
not to be confused with tolerance, multiculturalism, or philosophies of
that nature. We do not tolerate or accept philosophies outside of
Biblical truth, but we LOVE all because all are created in the image of
God who is Holy (Kodesh - entirely other, set apart) and thus all are
intended to reflect and be His representatives. The world falls far
short, churches and many who tag themselves as "Christian" fall short,
but we are here to share our knowledge, help you out, speak the Truth
in Love, forgive all, and expell all who will not operate by this
standard.
We must
not all agree, but we must all love. Hate speach, accusation, slander,
coarse language, disrespact and all such language and behavior will not
be tolerated here at all - ever.
We welcome you to our site and we hope we can answer your orchard Questions and improve your life in some manner
Be Blessed, Pastor Tom Marxen

*(
NOTE: use of the word ‘catholic' here does not refer to a particular
denomination. It simply means ‘universal'. In this creed it refers to
the fact that in God's eyes all who affirm what is stated in this creed
belong to one Christian church, regardless of race, denomination or
sect. Webster's Dictionary defines catholic as" Of the Christian church
as a whole; specif., of the ancient, undivided Christian church ". This
is our usage and meaning here.)
